Deborah Storz Named Chief Operating Officer
of Dashing Diva Franchise Corp.

Strategic marketing consultant and cosmetics industry veteran, Deborah Storz, was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Dashing Diva Franchise Corp. – the world’s first truly “branded” chain of nail salons that is “re-inventing the nail salon experience” for thousands of customers in seven different countries. The announcement was made by John Chang, CEO and founder of Dashing Diva Franchise Corp. (and head of KMC-Exim, the world’s largest manufacturer of artificial nails).

Deborah’s early career was spent at leading beauty and consumer package goods companies Revlon, Beecham Products, and Estee Lauder, where she spearheaded the growth of the company’s sun care business and opened their subsidiary in India. Deborah left the beauty business in the late Eighties to head up the new business development unit of Swatch-North America. Then, in the early Nineties, she started her own strategic marketing/new business development consulting practice, servicing dozens of blue-chip clients including Johnson & Johnson, The Clorox Company, Revlon, Pfizer, Sunbeam, POLO/Ralph Lauren, Kraft, McDonalds, Ralston-Purina, The Thermos Company, and financial services powerhouse American Express – where she served in a new business development role for 14 years, helping several of its TRS (Travel Related Services) strategic business units increase their revenue base.

Deborah began working with Dashing Diva back in fall 2003. Capitalizing on the company’s unique, proprietary product technology, she set out to create the country’s next big “category killer” – a nationwide chain of branded, high-end-yet affordable, nail salons with a unique in-store environment, wildly inventive services, and unprecedented levels of hygiene and sanitation. “Deborah has successfully transformed our vision into a reality,” explained CEO John Chang in announcing her appointment as C.O.O. “Under her leadership, we have gone from a one-store, New York-based nail salon into an internationally-recognized brand, with locations in New York, California and North Carolina, as well as Japan, Singapore, Korea, Philippines, Kuwait and Australia.”

With its unmistakable “Dashing Diva Pink” storefront, distinctive Pink Pedicure Lounge™ and proprietary, custom-fit Virtual Nails™ product, Dashing Diva has captured the attention of customers, the media and potential business owners/ franchisees. As Chief Operating Officer, Deborah is responsible for overseeing the company’s national rollout and evolution into a total beauty company, with a significant retail products business.

A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Deborah has resided in New York City since 1979. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Stanford University, and an M.B.A. from INSEAD, the international business school in Fontainebleau, France. She is a frequent speaker on the evolution of branding, creative ideation and effective marketing communications and serves on the advisory board of Womensbiz.us. She was a keynote speaker on branding at the PRSA (Public Relations Society of America) Annual Conference in January 2005, and was recently written up in The Wall Street Journal for her business advice to new college grads. She will be one of the keynote speakers at Cosmoprof North America's "What Every Brand Needs to Know" summit in July 2007.
